8CCC AV Event Production is a growing social enterprise, developed by 8CCC Community radio utilising our experience with media and technology to amplify music, arts and community events. We deliver services Including:

– Live Sound, Staging and Lighting 

– Hybrid events and visual streaming, incl Sports 

– Event production, stage management and promotion 

– Live Radio production – Broadcasting Community Events through 102.1FM 

 

The 8CCC AV Event Production Manager role is responsible for the operation and coordination of 8CCC AV Event Production Social Enterprise in accordance with 8CCC policies and procedures and with support from 8CCC’s Station Manager and staffing team

Knowledge and experience with Audio Visual technical service delivery, events management, live music, broadcast media, theatre and stage productions and project management is highly desirable.  

 

8CCC AV Production Manager  Duties:

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and OH&S regulations. Maintain 8CCC’s commitment to All Good Project Policy and Music NT’s Best Practice Guidelines for Live Music Venues 

Develop new business opportunities & secure bookings through marketing, networking and referrals, generating revenue to support sustainable operations. 

Manage operational budget and ensure service delivery generates sustainable revenue. Generate monthly reports 

Communicate with clients, artists and performers & develop quotes/ Invoices utilising Microsoft forms, Current RMS (Rental Management System), Microsoft Teams and Xero.  

Schedule and coordinate crew bookings using ‘Deputy’ software, ensuring compliance with the Live Music Award and ensuring appropriate resourcing for safe and effective service delivery. Verify and approve timesheets. Collect & respond to crew feedback 

Provide support for project managers, team leaders and technical crew in the lead up and during service delivery. 

Uses interpersonal skills and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers, the supervisory chain, staff, and clients. 

Coordinate monthly crew meetings & training opportunities. Maintain crew skills matrix, training and qualifications register 

Send a monthly briefing to crew, provide advance notice of upcoming opportunities and relevant information to ensure our casual workforce is informed and engaged.  

Recruit and induct new crew members. 

Develop and maintain a crew handbook with SWMS, Policies and Procedures 

Develops standard operating procedure policies for AV equipment usage and ensures compliance with said rules. 

Monitors the condition of all AV equipment and arrange for the repair or replacement of faulty equipment. Maintaining asset register and tracking through ‘Current RMS’. 

Performs other duties as assigned.
