We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audio-Visual professional to join our Hospitality Team with one of our leading Corporate Clients EY. This role is more than just the basics and requires someone with of energy, drive and commitment. We are looking for team leader who is highly passionate on all things AV & tech and is looking to deliver great service assistance to users and clients alike.

About you – your Responsibilities, Skills, and Experience

  • You are a technical maestro with a minimum of 3 years’ experience but also knows how to create excellent client experiences – you can demonstrate your ability to really make a positive impact.
  • You have proven experience in utilizing technology platforms such as Microsoft Teams including Teams rooms (MTR’s) & Video conferencing.
  • Experience around AMX, Crestron control systems & Audio processors is preferrable.
  • Effective in building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating & maintaining service standard documentation.
  • You’re inquisitive, you enjoy supporting new initiatives and you’re happy to share your knowledge and work not only in a service and support environment but be part of the team/s responsible for upgrades and new project rollouts.
  • You have experience maintaining & working with vendors to support AV systems & maintenance agreements.
  • You’re flexible, deal easily with an ever-changing scope of work and cope well under pressure.
  • You have proven record of involvement within a diverse range of operations most importantly in the running of meetings and events and never lose your cool.
  • You’ve got a passion for service delivery – you can solve technical issues quickly whilst at the same time as creating great client experiences.
  • You want to have positive interactions with all clients – it’s part of your DNA.

About the role

  • Lead, coach & guide a Team of Audio-Visual professionals to support the hospitality operations for daily meetings & events.
  • Support EY staff and clients for meetings and events over three client floors & extended event outlets.
  • Work with a rotating roster that supports morning, lunch, and evening event needs.
  • Supports Teams calls, Video conference calls, Surface Hubs, Zoom, Webex etc. – also including broadcast for in-house hybrid meetings with a splash of creative media works.
  • Management of the AV team which is based in Sydney.
  • Leading and participating with teams to achieve results by planning, executing projects and tasks.
  • Build upon the diverse experience, knowledge, and skills of individuals to achieve business results.
  • Monitor and assist in the training and development of all employees.
  • Ensure that succession planning is developed, and progression plans are managed accordingly within your dedicated AV team.
