We’re seeking submissions for a full time, experienced commercial audio/AV sales representative based in Melbourne. Sales experience with commercial/professional audio systems and AV equipment and systems is mandatory – this is not a beginners role! Understanding AV and audio systems is a must. A strong ability and desire to support our dealer network in the sales process and provide some technical support would be a great thing. You’ll be responsible for customer accounts and targets. Ability to travel occasionally is required. A solid remuneration package will be offered consisting of base salary, superannuation, sales commission and motor vehicle allowance.

The successful applicant will ideally have a passion for customer service, sales and must have a friendly and professional manner. Proficient computer skills, strong written / verbal communication skills with a “can-do” attitude  and the ability to multi-task.

Maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new customers to drive sales

Time management skills and the ability to work with limited supervision

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in the audio visual industry (essential)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with selling professional and commercial audio visual products

Experience in diagnosing and resolving problems with integrated audio visual solutions

Experience in negotiation selling skills and closing a sale

The successful applicant must have had previous experience in the audio industry with a background in customer service and sales. Experience in Visual and IT industries is preferred but not essential.
