Encore are Australia’s leading events company and we are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Events Director to join our team.

In this key role you will be responsible for managing webcast services to ensure the successful execution of webcast systems. You’ll be encouraged to use your creative flair to develop new and exciting ways for the business to continue to be innovative and be the market leader. This role also acts as a technical webcast advisor/expert to help support the wider business. To be successful you’ll need to; have a proactive approach, not be afraid to be creative, tell it like it is and as such have excellent communication skills. This really is an exciting role for someone to make their mark within the events industry. This digital world is always changing and continues to evolve, so the webcast director has to change, evolve and adapt to the changes.

Primary focus of role:

  • Sales Support of digital business within the encore venue and sales teams
  • Delivery of digital streaming within live events
  • Internal technical support for the digital portfolio including tech checks
  • Knowledge base for the preparation of digital tasks as received through the production department

What our ideal candidate will offer us:

  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient HTML and Coding skills
  • Strong skills in video conferencing, Zoom and any other conferencing platforms.
  • Proven management or supervisory experience;
  • Strong communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Not afraid to be cross functional and step into the production environment when required
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
  • High level computer skills across both Mac and PC
  • High level understanding of Adobe creative suite for video editing
  • Develop training materials for all Encore Event Technologies digital products
  • Deliver training to crew on all digital products within the business


  • Qualifications in Hospitality or Events
  • Qualification in Screen and Media
  • Website creation and coding experience
  • Current drivers license and own transport
