About the role:

As our Junior Technical Support Engineer, you will play a vital role both in-house and on-site, delivering high-quality support to ensure projects meet the high standards we are known for. Your tasks will include managing our customers’ hardware and software infrastructure, direct liaison with clients, vendor management, logistics handling, and providing high level of technical support.

Key responsibilities:

1. At least 1 year experience in IT/ICT support or relevant field
2. Fundamental knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript and Storage Systems
3. Intermediate understanding of databases including SQL and MongoDB, Linux Administration, Networking, and Infrastructure Virtualisation
4. Basic Technical Drawing and Writing Skills are desirable
5. Ability to participate in the on-call roster
6. Flexibility to undertake some after-hours work
7. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.

About you:

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a basic understanding of professional support environments, including communication and helpdesk software
• Possess technical ICT knowledge, including Windows Desktop/Server, network switching and routing, WiFi, and content management systems
• Can swiftly learn and implement highly technical systems
• Are self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team as well as independently
• Have prior experience or education in IT, A/V, or similar fields
• Are proficient with all Microsoft Office products
• Can handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Have a strong interest or experience in Audio/Video broadcasting, which will be highly regarded.
