Harry the hirer Productions is seeking a leadership driven Operations Manager to assume responsibility for the day to day delivery and management of our Sydney Productions business.

Harry the hirer Productions is a world class event production business with an undisputed reputation for service and advanced, state-of-the-art inventory. 

The successful candidate will play a critical part in developing, maintaining and improving our operations teams and will work toward streamlining logistics for the successful delivery of our Lighting, Rigging and Audio Visual crews.

This role requires a leader who can motivate and manage their team, while identifying issues and develop solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in logistics, operations and stock control, along with the communication skills to work closely with other departments. 

The successful candidate will possess: 

  • Proven team leadership
  • Strong spoken and written communication ability
  • A career showing experience in planning and prioritising team workloads
  • Logistics experience

Key areas of responsibility will include: 

  • Manage, plan, direct and co-ordinate all department operations and logistics
  • Recruitment, development and mentoring staff
  • Oversee asset management and loss prevention
  • Constantly review systems to ensure efficiency and cost control
