Overview

We invite applications for the position of Project Manager, Audio & Visual, as part of our cutting-edge Technology Program at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia’s leading public university. This role is central to leading the implementation and management of audio-visual technologies at our new City Campus, set to be a state-of-the-art hub for innovation and learning.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join the ECU City team, and to play your part in the launch of this unprecedented project, as we look towards our opening to students in 2026.

The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) will join ECU’s School of Business and Law, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Science, and more, in the CBD.

This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of major projects and programs to achieve ECU’s Audio & Visual responsibilities for the City Campus Technology Program. As an advocate, advisor and escalation point, the Project Manager will maintain effective business relationships required to support the City Campus Technology Program enabling them to identify common needs and opportunities and incorporate these into City Campus and ECU wide outcomes.

You are a dynamic, results-driven individual with a passion for technology and a keen focus on delivering audio and visual solutions that enrich educational environments. An adept communicator, you can convey complex technical details in a manner that is accessible to stakeholders at all levels. Your leadership style is characterized by your ability to inspire your team and collaborate effectively across departments, always aiming for excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $127,851 to $133,704 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
