The Role

A fantastic opportunity has become available as a specialist AVC Technical Sales Consultant in the Southern Region, looking after Wellington and the South Island.

You will be involved in business development, which involves advocating the brands JPRO distributes, quoting, designing and commissioning of audio, video and control installations.

This role involves substantial interaction with clients, so you need to enjoy meeting people, getting out of the office and travelling out of town.

You could expect to deal with Local Councils, Electrical Engineers, Consultants, AV Integrators, Schools, Churches, Performance Theatres and more.  Your role will be to prospect and generate new opportunities across the Region.

The successful applicant will operate on a sole operator basis but have the backing of a full sales and marketing team based in Auckland.

Our candidate will best be suited living in Wellington or Christchurch.

The Ideal Person

We need a proven sales achiever, who can work autonomously and bring in specialist staff when required. This is a real solutions-focused role and this market is all about problem solving alongside your client. 

A technical aptitude is key; AVC design experience is essential, and an understanding of audio and video concepts is a must.

Preferably we would be looking for someone within the AV Industry, who also has good IT networking knowledge.
