Creo Media is a digital communications services provider, specialising in the production and distribution of online video. The bulk of our services comprise live and on-demand webcasting, video streaming and production. Working with a range of clients spanning corporate organisations, educational bodies, industry associations, not-for-profits, event agencies, music festivals, sporting groups and government departments.

This role requires a highly detailed oriented individual, competent in dealing with clients and managing the technical side of online video streaming and distribution in fast-paced environments. Some duties will be based in our Alexandria office, while most work will be completed “on location” in client’s office, hotels, conference centres and occasional outdoor sports and music venues.

While this role is currently offered as part-time, there is future scope to move to a full-time capacity at a later date.

Key responsibilities may include:
•Accurate understanding of the event, the technology and the client’s expectations
•Designing, building and testing webcast templates and video players
•Liaising with third party suppliers, including production crews, AV technicians and venue management
•Live production elements, including directing, vision switching, floor management, camera operation, audio and lighting direction, live encoding, pushing slides, and managing Q&A and Twitter feeds
•Post-production and editing for all projects, ranging from simple top and tail edits to full DVD authoring and time critical VNR uploads
•Ensuring project success and client satisfaction

The devil is in the detail, there’s no second takes in a live environment, so the ability to keep calm under pressure and think on your feet is critical. We pride ourselves on creative technical production and seamless delivery, and will only consider a likeminded individual eager to help maintain our outstanding track record.

To be considered for this role you will ideally demonstrate:
•Strong knowledge of online and broadcast video production
•Design skills and experience with digital communications and publishing tools and protocols
•Sound understanding and experience with audio-visual equipment, including camera and lighting operation
•Video editing and post-production experience
•Capabilities around development of motion graphics, video stings, straps and special effects
•Working knowledge, or a willingness to learn, webcasting and streaming protocols, and graphic design & HTML editing platforms
•Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills
•Integrity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, persistence and high standards
