A Small Expansion

AcousticDesign speakers from QSC offer system integrators a premium quality installed sound solution where performance, coverage, and aesthetics are paramount. Suited to a wide variety of foreground/background audio applications the current line-up of 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12” 2-ways plus 12” sub-woofer has now been supplemented by a 4” 2-way.

Like the other AD speakers the 4” AD-S4T features the award winning QSC X-Mount ‘ball’ type bracket system for quick and secure deployed vertically or horizontally. Knurled surfaces on the X-Mount’s pivot points lock deployment angles and ensure that aiming stays fixed and doesn’t creep over time. Pan, tilt and yaw adjustments provide three plains for perfect positioning and once finalised the speaker is simply lifted onto the mount and clicks into place.

The AD-S4T offers a wide 120° conical dispersion and features QSC’s Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) so that it delivers an even coverage throughout the frequency range with both the HF and LF drivers following the same pattern.

Housed in a rugged ABS enclosure, the AD-S4T is available in black or white and includes weather treated transducers, a sealed input panel cover, a powder-coated aluminum grille and meets or exceeds the IEC60529 IP-54 rating for dust and splash resistance. A multi-tap 30-watt transformer with an 8Ω bypass completes the easy to install package.
