Be On The Lookout – Stolen Gear – South Coast NSW

Roddy Reason is a well-known musician on the South Coast of NSW. During the summer fires, his property burnt and he lost almost all of his equipment. Many people helped out to get him set-up to be able to gig again. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, and he lost more work. He has just started playing some shows with his new KV2 PA and other new gear. On Saturday 6 September, he stopped to get some dinner on his way to a show, and while he was eating, his borrowed car with all his gear in it was stolen from outside Burrill Lake Fish Shop at 6.05 pm. The car is a dark blue Holden Calais, NSW plates, BS14VI.

Apart from KV2 standing out in the second-hand market, there are some other noteworthy items, including a handmade Gilet Guitar, serial number ‘0’, dated 2006. (Pictured with Roddy). Here’s the full list of what was stolen:

• Case with various cables/ leads/harmonicas/ pedals /microphones/iPod
• Stage Lights x 2
• Tonebone Pre-Amp
• Bbe Acoustimax Pre-Amp
• K&M Speaker and Mic Stands
• Snare Drum and Footstomper
• Wallet/cash and many personal sentimental items
