LEOPARD Wins Two Best Product Awards At InfoComm

The Meyer Sound LEOPARD linear sound reinforcement system earned two industry accolades at InfoComm 2015, where it recently made its US debut.

The smallest, most versatile member of Meyer Sound’s flagship LEO Family, LEOPARD won the Commercial Integrator BEST Award for Venue/Line Array Loudspeakers, selected by industry experts, integrators, and the editors of Commercial Integrator.

LEOPARD also won the Pro Audio Group Best of Show Award as a product that showed the highest perceived value; ROI; total cost of ownership; richness of the feature set; ease-of-use; reliability; versatility; and demonstrated performance.

Designed to create an exceptional listening experience across a wide variety of applications from rental to install and rock ‘n’ roll to classical, the LEOPARD line array loudspeaker and its accompanying 900-LFC low-frequency control element boast tremendous power-to-size ratio with ultra-low distortion, offering an unprecedented level of clarity, power, precision, and ease of use. Each LEOPARD loudspeaker features a new class-D amplifier that consumes less power and generates less heat, with default low-mid array compensation for utmost simplicity out of the box.

More than 13 rental companies have already purchased a system, including Megasound from Switzerland. “I realized at the demo that LEOPARD not only provided a remarkable listening experience but a new definition of live sound reinforcement,” says Denis Gaillard of Prilly-based Megasound. “Regardless of output level, the instruments in the music remain in perfect balance. The power, transparency, and phase coherence create a deep sense of space, even at the limits of the primary coverage area.”
