 The Role

We are looking for a professional, motivated individual to join our Operations team as Electronics Service Technician in our Sydney headquarters. This is a full-time role reporting to the Operations Manager, which would best suit a friendly, willing-to-help team player who has the ability to operate in a fast-changing environment whilst maintaining quality customer service as a priority. A passion for electronics and experience with fault-finding is key to this role, on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Knowledge of electronic circuit components

  • Ability to test diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components in professional lighting equipment.

  • Assessing required repairs and producing quotations for customers.

  • Performing quality control checks.

  • Assist in Pre-delivery and testing of stock.

  • Stock management of spare parts within the service department.

  • Participation in rolling stocktakes.

  • Provide a high level of customer service and support to our customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Completing service reports and processing into our ‘Service Manager’ system.

  • Provide phone support to customers and colleagues

  • Always ensuring compliance to legislative requirements, HSEMS and company policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you must have these essential skills:

  • Passion and experience in electronics

  • Experience within the entertainment lighting industry is desirable.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A self-starter that is result driven.

  • Mature ‘Can Do’ attitude that works well as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail, with organisation and time management skills.

  • The ability to operate in a fast-changing environment.

  • Intermediate computer skills.

  • Ability to conduct manual heavy lifting as required.
