Audio Visual Installation Technician.

Opportunity for a full-time Audio Visual Installation Technician to join a fun, energetic, well-respected, rapidly growing business.

We focus on commercial AV and ICT systems integration, we have excellent, long-standing, top-tier clients in the Corporate, Education, and Health industries.

We are the national supplier for several large medical companies, focusing on operating theatres and emerging audio-visual technologies for a range of clinical spaces.

Our projects span the greater Sydney area, with occasional interstate travel also a necessity, should it be required.

The successful applicant would ideally have at least 3 years of experience in the Audio Visual and ICT industry and be able to work in a proactive, productive, and motivated team environment. Other responsibilities include:

  • An ability to work confidently with clients and builders and display strong leadership qualities. 
  • Complete project tasks efficiently, and on time, focussing on attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of cable infrastructure and terminations.
  • The efficient installation of AV devices such as video conferencing equipment, computers, network switches, displays, microphones, speakers, AV/IP endpoints, and equipment racks.
  • Ability to manage projects and work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

We would strongly consider a 2-3 year electrical apprentice looking to transition into the Audio Visual field. 

Experience with Crestron, QSC, Extron, and AMX would be highly regarded.

Remuneration will be based on the applicant’s experience and current certification in the audio-visual industry. We pay all of our staff overtime after standard working hours as per the electrical trades award guidelines.

Suggested range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
