NW Group is one of Australia’s leading technical production companies, delivering professional audio, lighting, vision and staging solutions for live events. We’re looking for two reliable and motivated Warehouse & Event Equipment Assistant to join our Rydalmere team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the preparation and de-preparation of professional audiovisual equipment for a wide range of events. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in being organised, and want to be part of the live events industry, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Based at our Rydalmere warehouse, you’ll be responsible for preparing, checking and packing technical audiovisual equipment before events, and inspecting, testing and returning equipment to stock once it comes back from site.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required as some weekend work is necessary during busy periods and major events. Time off in lieu or applicable overtime arrangements will apply in accordance with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, pick and pack professional audiovisual equipment for events
- De-prep returned equipment, including checking, cleaning, testing and repacking
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and elevated work platforms (EWPs) as required
- Assist with stock control and warehouse organisation
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and operations teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF) – Essential
- A current driver’s licence
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics or event production environment
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required
Experience working with professional audiovisual or event equipment is highly regarded but not essential. We value people who are reliable, proactive and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
