Featuring a unique double-dome diaphragm Audio-Technica’s new AE2300 delivers precise high-frequencies and transient response making it ideal for many high SPL applications.
With its rugged, brass metal construction and compact 95mm body, this newest member of the Artist Elite range is a versatile performer, able to capture sound from guitar amps, brass and woodwinds, drums and percussion instruments with clarity and precision.
The double-dome diaphragm design enables the AE2300 to maintain directionality across the entire frequency range, with little off-axis coloration for excellent phase cohesion in multiple-mic setups. The microphone is also equipped with a switchable low-pass filter that cuts out harsh, high-frequency noise, such as hiss from a guitar amp or high-hat bleed.
Supplied complete with an AT8471 isolation stand clamp, threaded adapter and soft protective pouch the AE2300 retails in Australia for $499.
