We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Service Manager to who will be accountable for the successful delivery of AV events assigned with a primary focus on the customer experience. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the event AV industry and understanding of client expectations.

You will be responsible for managing multi-skilled AV technicians to ensure all aspects of the event are successfully set-up, delivered and packed-down.

About the Role

  • Provide strong leadership in ensuring compliance with service standards as defined by the Manager, AV Service Delivery, and competency standards as defined by specialists and Infrastructure & Equipment teams

  • Work with other AV members in monitoring and reporting the performance of all AV services EBA team members

  • Support business initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement and belonging.

  • Cross check event orders, crew rosters and venue set up and action any requests in a timely manner.

  • Manage the successful delivery of technology services aspects of all events.

  • Brief technicians and agency staff on MCEC service and technology standards, and event delivery requirements.

  • Manage staffing for allocated events to ensure the smooth delivery of event.

  • Lead by example, in ensuring all technicians, AV services and agency staff provide technical services to agreed levels of quality and consistency and demonstrate a sense of ownership for service delivery.

  • Assist AV Services Delivery team in driving team programs as directed – service standards and continuous improvement, rostering, safety and security, and communications.

 

About you

  • Broad experience in delivering technically complex events

  • Extensive experience in the AV industry, with a focus on at least on of the technical elements of event production e.g lighting, rigging, audio systems, vision systems, communications and multi-media

  • Successful track record of event AV delivery

  • Capability to embrace, adapt and respond to change

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Available to work varying hours across weekdays and weekends based upon event requirements
