Audiovisual Installation Technician

Are you an experienced audiovisual technician with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality installations? Do you enjoy a mix of hands-on work on-site and supporting projects from planning through to delivery?

We’re looking for a capable Audiovisual Installation Technician to join our growing team based on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a full-time role offered on a 9-day fortnight, giving you a regular rostered day off every second week while working with a team that values balance, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager to prepare for upcoming projects, including coordinating equipment, liaising with suppliers, and developing schematics and documentation.

• Configure and install AV, networking, and network-based systems.

• Deliver high-quality audiovisual installations across a variety of sites, travelling to project locations as required.

• Provide technical support, fault finding, and system optimisation for installed AV solutions.

• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders throughout project delivery.

• Ensure all works are completed in line with company quality standards and WHS requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in audiovisual installation, integration, or a similar technical field.

• Strong understanding of AV systems, signal flow, and system integration.

• Experience with AV-related networking and IP-based systems.

• Ability to read and contribute to schematics and technical documentation.

• Confident working independently on-site and taking ownership of outcomes.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Clear communication skills and ability to work closely with internal teams and suppliers.

• Willingness to travel for project work.

• Based on the Sunshine Coast for close collaboration with our Coolum team.
