PCC Productions is a growing regional event production company delivering professional audio, lighting, LED screens, staging, live streaming and event production across the Pilbara and throughout Western Australia.

From corporate events and awards nights to festivals, concerts, community events and major outdoor productions, we help our clients take an idea and turn it into an experience.

We’re looking for an Event Architect to join our team in a newly created part-time role.

This isn’t simply a sales role, and it isn’t an AV technician role.

You’ll sit right at the front of our production process – talking with clients, understanding their vision, designing the right production solution, preparing quotes and making sure our production team has a clear, well-scoped event to deliver.

What is an Event Architect?

When a client contacts PCC and says:

“We’ve got an awards night for 300 people and want it to look incredible…”

“We’re planning a community festival and need a stage, sound and lighting…”

“We need an LED screen and production for our AGM…”

Your job is to take that conversation and turn it into a complete event production solution.

You don’t need to personally operate every piece of equipment. You need to be able to understand what the client is trying to achieve, ask the right questions and use PCC’s systems, packages and technical team to build the right solution.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for things like:

• Responding to new event and production enquiries

• Talking with clients by phone, email and in person

• Understanding the event, audience, venue and desired outcome

• Helping clients work out what they actually need

• Designing appropriate audio, lighting, staging, LED and production solutions

• Building professional quotes using our existing systems and equipment packages

• Following up quotes and enquiries

• Conducting or coordinating site visits where required

• Liaising with our production team on more complex events

• Making sure confirmed jobs are properly scoped before being handed over for delivery

• Maintaining strong relationships with existing PCC clients

• Identifying opportunities to improve or add value to an event

• Helping us continually improve our quoting packages and event solutions

Who we’re looking for

We’re more interested in finding the right person than someone with a particular qualification.

You may already work in events, AV, hospitality, venues, marketing, sales or customer service.

Or you may simply be someone who is exceptionally good with people, highly organised and loves figuring out how to make things happen.

You’ll probably thrive in this role if you:

• Are confident speaking with clients

• Communicate clearly and professionally

• Have excellent attention to detail

• Are organised and able to manage multiple enquiries at once

• Enjoy solving problems

• Can listen to an idea and turn it into a practical plan

• Are comfortable working with pricing, quotes and budgets

• Have good computer and administration skills

• Take ownership and follow things through

• Enjoy events and creating great experiences

• Can balance what a client wants with what they actually need

Do I need AV experience?

AV or event-production experience would be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential.

We already have experienced production and technical people within PCC who can assist with complex system design.

We’ll also train you in our equipment, packages, quoting systems and the fundamentals of event production.

What is harder to teach – and what we’re really looking for – is someone who can communicate, think, organise, learn quickly and genuinely care about delivering a great result for the client.

Part Time – approximately 20 hours per week
