We currently have a great opportunity for a talented Operations Manager to join our Brisbane venue team, based within Brisbane City Hall and working within the team to deliver exceptional full-service audio-visual production.
This role will suit an individual who enjoys dealing with people and thrives on the challenges of a fast paced and dynamic workplace. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of crew and equipment movements and working as part of the Brisbane City Hall production and technician team to ensure the maintaining of operational standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Highly detail-oriented and superior organisational skills
- Audio, vision and lighting technical knowledge
- Strong ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to work within a team
- Proven history of customer service and problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years working experience in AV/broadcast equipment rental and/or event execution capacity
The successful applicant will possess the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with our roster of full time and casual staff and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of event delivery. The ability to work in technical situations such as rehearsals and show operations. An understanding of industry software packages RentalPoint and Personnel Manager, and prior warehousing and logistics supervisory experience would be advantageous.
