Production Manager / TD

ABOUT THE ROLE

Pixel Line, based in Geebung Brisbane, is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Production Manager to join our team on a full time basis. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to join a leader in the live production industry, working with well-known and respected people and brands.

 We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience in a Production Management or Technical Director role in the live event industry combined with a hunger to develop your talents as a video and display systems specialist. Equally if you’re already a vision specialist here’s your chance to hone your skills on the best equipment in a flexible work environment as part of a great team.

 This is a project management role. As a Production Manager (PM) for Pixel Line you’ll look after an event from the initial quoting and sales process, through the pre-production and prep stage, and then lead our technical crew in delivering the event.

 Pride in your work that clearly shows attention to detail and care for others is essential.

 As a service driven industry, customer service is at the forefront of our business.  The ability to interact with clients in a polite, professional manner is essential for this position. 

ABOUT YOU

 The successful candidate will possess: 

• Proven experience in a similar role (production management, account management, operations and/or technical direction) within the live event production industry
• Proven experience in audiovisual productions with either a focus in the video and vision systems disciple or a desire to skill up in this discipline
• A desire to deliver the very best customer experience
• Excellent time management skills and a “can do” attitude
• The ability to develop relationships both internally and externally
• A desire to take ownership and responsibility for quality results
• Knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Current driver’s license

Additionally, these attributes would be favourable:

• Experience in large format LED screens, large format Projection
• Experience in virtual production and film & TV environments
• A desire to lead and develop the next generation of production professionals
• Rigger/dogger and EWP tickets *
• Experience with RentalPoint and Vectorworks *

Our production office and warehouse is located in Geebung, Brisbane.

Whilst the bulk of our work is within South East Queensland, we have provided equipment and expertise for events across Australia and New Zealand and into Asia.
