Senior Audio Visual Technician

We have an exciting new opportunity within our Melbourne Team and are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Technician,

As a Senior Audio Visual technician, you will be providing cutting edge technical services for conferences, seminars, gala dinners plus more. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be capable of installing and operating a wide range of audio, vision, event staging, IT and lighting technologies on high profile events.

About the role

The ideal candidate is an experienced senior technician, capable of installing and operating a wide range of audio, vision, IT and lighting technologies. You would ideally have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in conferencing, gala dinners, and similar corporate events/ productions, with demonstrable highly developed organisational and communication skills that allow you to lead teams with confidence.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in Audio, Vision and Lighting technologies 

• Reside in Melbourne

• A solid understanding of the conferencing or staging industry

• A passion for technology

• Direct experience operating events

• Driven to provide outstanding customer service

• Superior personal presentation

• A valid open driver’s license

• Rigging certification highly favourable

• EWP (Yellow card or HRWL) highly favourable
