We currently have a great opportunity for a talented Warehouse Coordinator to join our Brisbane team.
Working across our combined NW Group brands of Norwest & Haycom this role will suit an individual who has previously worked as an audio/visual technician that will combine their technical knowledge with a high attention to detail and apply it to the day-to-day work on our warehouse floor.
You will enjoy dealing with logistics, warehousing, maintenance programs and projects, and thrive on the challenges of a fast paced and dynamic workplace. In this role you will be responsible for prepping AV equipment for shows and transfers, checking out and in equipment for our events and working as an integral part of the operations team to ensure the maintaining of operational standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate
- 3+ years working experience in audio visual equipment rental and/or event execution capacity
- Highly detail-oriented and superior organizational skills
- Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work within a team
- Proven history of customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift ticket preferred (can be provided)
- Manual drivers’ licence (MR an advantage)
- An understanding of, and willingness to participate in WH&S systems and practices
To ensure success in this role, a background in the Event/Audio-Visual industry is preferred, along with a solid understanding of industry practices.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with our roster of full time and casual staff, along with managing equipment flow, maintenance, presentation and reliability of our assets, and premises.
Prior warehousing and logistics supervisory experience would be advantageous along with an understanding of (or ability to learn) industry software packages RentalPoint and Personnel Manager.
