What’s the Gig?

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action, keeping Novatech’s warehouse running smoothly. Whether helping the crew through daily prep and reset activities or supporting operations with routine and ad-hoc tasks, you’ll be hands-on with the gear. You’ll also manage freight and logistics that power Adelaide’s biggest live events.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Warehouse Assistant Manager

• Coordinate and execute daily warehouse operations, including prep, reset, and Ready for Hire (RFH) activities.

• Oversee equipment preparation and dispatch for events, ensuring timeliness and quality.

• Manage paperwork, admin, and inventory, including pre-resets, freight bookings, and general opening/closing responsibilities.

• Plan, prioritise, and allocate resources to maximise efficiency and safety, stepping in for the Warehouse Manager when needed.

• Supervise truck loading and workflow, ensuring smooth movement of equipment to event sites.

Warehouse Assistant

• Execute tasks assigned by Warehouse management, including prep, reset, and dispatch of AV equipment.

• Assist with freight management, including checking equipment in/out and hands-on logistics.

• Carry out weekly warehouse cleaning and maintenance duties across the warehouse, vehicles, and site/yard.

• Support the team with other tasks as required by the Assistant Manager and Warehouse Manager.

You’re probably the type who has…

• A can-do attitude, a sharp eye, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping things moving like clockwork.

• Strong teamwork skills, a problem-solving mindset, and critical thinking to tackle challenges as they arise.

• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics environment, or similar setting (2–3 years for Warehouse Assistant, 3+ years for Assistant Manager).

• A willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow your skills under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager and other staff.

• Respect for safety, sound knowledge of WHS standards, and organised individual.

Also, nice to have:

• Forklift, White Card, and MR/HR licences, or the motivation to get them fast.

• First Aid certified and safety-related certificates.
