Established in 1997, Statewide Staging Systems is Western Australia’s most experienced provider of rigging and stage engineering solutions, working across Australia, principally in the entertainment, special event, sport, exhibition and presentation industries. Our structures include Orbit Domes, Ground Support Systems, staging and a large range of Layher Scaffold and custom components.
We are looking for an Operations Manager to take a lead in the day-to-day operations and future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities – Reporting to Managing Director
– Ensure smooth running of jobs from start to finish. Meeting client expectations and budgets, whilst maintaining a safe work environment.
– Client relationship management.
– Casual staff management both on-site and in warehouse.
– Use of CRM software
– Quotations
– Stock Control
– Quality Control
– Direct staff, delegate and monitor tasks.
– Attend the event, if required.
-Identify product or logistical problems and take steps to overcome in an effective manner.
– OHS Management.
Skills and Attributes Required:
– Must be 100% dedicated to the role – no separate agendas
– Experience with event GSS systems, large scale events, rigging and scaffolding.
– Product knowledge / understanding
– White Card and HRL – Riggers, FK, WAH, EWP, Scaffold
– Experience with CAD software (AutoDesk or vector works)
– Valid Drivers License
– Outstanding leadership and communication skills
– Enthusiastic, hard-working, CAN-DO attitude
– Prepared to work long hours in the peak summer season (October – March)
