About the Role
As an AV Technician at Bower Technology, you’ll play a key role in the installation and configuration of commercial AV systems. You’ll work on modern meeting spaces and collaboration environments using technologies from Crestron, Logitech, Cisco, Yealink, Biamp, Q-SYS and more.
Key Responsibilities

Install and configure AV systems including displays, projectors, LED walls, speakers, microphones, equipment racks, and structured cabling.

Set up and commission Microsoft Teams and Zoom Room environments.

Test and troubleshoot systems on-site and remotely.

Maintain clear and accurate records of installation and service work.

Represent the company professionally while working with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
What You’ll Need
-
Minimum 2 years experience in commercial AV installation or service.

Good understanding of AV equipment and workplace technologies.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Ability to read construction drawings (floor plans, elevations, etc.)

Excellent communication skills.

White Card, valid driver’s licence, personal vehicle, and basic hand tools.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
-
AV industry certifications (e.g. CTS, Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, etc.).

EWP / Working at Heights Licences
-
Blue Card
-
Open Cabling Registration
-
Familiarity with networking fundamentals.

- $70,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
