About the Role: This role is Canberra based and we are seeking an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Technicians to join our expert team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for setting up, testing, and adjusting AV equipment, while ensuring the smooth running of live events and corporate meetings. You will play a key role in the design, installation, and operation of AV equipment for a variety of scale of events.
Candidates must have current rights to work in Australia.
What You will Do:

Set up, operate, and pack down audio-visual systems for a variety of events,
-
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality AV experiences from pre-production to post-event,
-
Setup and operation of LED walls, multi-camera setups, and vision switchingobe Illustrator
-
Supervise and mentor junior technicians, ensuring smooth execution of event operations.

Troubleshoot complex AV issues and provide quick, effective solutions to ensure events run smoothly.

Operate and maintain industry-leading AV technology and support large-scale rollouts.
Key Skills and Experience:
-
4+ years’ experience as a skilled operator in audio, vision, and lighting technologies.

Expertise in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV systems,
-
Strong computer skills, including experience using PowerPoint and Keynote for presentations,
-
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is essential: audio, lighting, or vision systems.

Competency in Signal Management: SDI video formats, RF transmission, fibre-optic systems, wireless video transmission,
-
Skilled in Multi-Camera Setup & Coordination, Vision Switching & Video Transmission,
-
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to lead

Excellent time management skills, particularly in demanding and high pressure situations.
We are Looking For:

Either formal qualifications in Audio Visual technology or a minimum of 4 years on the job experience,
-
Any relevant tertiary qualification in Audio Visual technology will be considered suitable formal qualification for this role.

Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Willingness to travel interstate as required,
-
Interstate travel will be required on a project basis as business needs arise.

Full, open driver’s license, own vehicle,
