The Opportunity 

ASV are seeking a full time experienced Audio-Visual installation Technician “All-Rounder” who can hit the ground running. Based Sunshine Coast/Brisbane and part of a small awesome team, delivering Audio-Visual installation and integration with precision, pride and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Estimating and Quoting AV Solutions
• Delivering high-quality Audio-Visual installations
• Servicing and maintaining Audio Visual systems and equipment
• Commissioning systems, fault finding, and resolving issues 

What You’ll Bring 

• A current driver’s licence (manual)
• Blue Card, White Card (General Construction), EWPA.
• Solid experience in the commercial Audio-Visual space. (3 to 5 yr minimum)
• Hands-on knowledge of Integrating AV systems and networking systems
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Project Management including scheduling of Equipment, Manage and schedule Installation team
• Manage and coordinate Installation Quotes.
• Interpret floor plans and electrical drawings.

• Design, Build and interpret equipment racks as well as understanding spacing and power distributions.
• High level of understanding of Networks, Configuration, IP Addresses and Protocols.
• Installation and termination of all common Audio-Visual cables.

• Physical ability to fit, hang and install brackets required for speakers, Projectors, TVs, and LED/LCD installations.
• Sound understanding of LED/LCD Screen components, software, and operations.

• Sound ability to run cable, manage cable, and understand integrity of cabling.
• General understanding of construction procedures including site specific instructions.
• Read and interpret Audio Visual Tenders, Schematics and Drawings.
• Complete on-site installation works to the highest standard.
• Carry out Audio Visual equipment investigations and problem solving.
• Ensure Installation requirements and logistics are coordinated.
• Demonstrate a passion for the Audio-Visual Industry and an aptitude for installation work.
