About the Role

As an AV Installation Technician at Bower Technology, you’ll play a key role in the installation and configuration of commercial AV systems. You’ll work on modern meeting spaces and collaboration environments using technologies from Crestron, Logitech, Cisco, Yealink, Biamp and Q-SYS. You’ll work alongside experienced AV professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and supporting each other to deliver great outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure AV systems including displays, projectors, LED walls, speakers, microphones, equipment racks, and structured cabling.

  • Set up and commission Microsoft Teams Room environments.

  • Test and troubleshoot systems on-site and remotely.

  • Maintain clear and accurate records of installation and service work.

  • Represent the company professionally while working with clients, partners, and subcontractors.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial AV installation or service.

  • Good understanding of AV equipment and workplace technologies.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Ability to read construction drawings (floor plans, elevations, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • White Card, valid driver’s licence and basic hand tools.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • AV industry certifications (e.g. CTS, Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, etc.).

  • EWP and Working at Heights Licences

  • Blue Card

  • Open Cabling Registration

  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
