About the Role
Myles Audio Visual is seeking a passionate and experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of high-profile events in one of the city’s most iconic venues — while playing a key role in delivering world-class technical experiences for our clients.

As our in-house AV Technician, you’ll bring technical excellence, calm under pressure, and a collaborative mindset to each event. You’ll be hands-on with show delivery, client liaison, and mentoring junior team members — all while being backed by a professional and supportive AV company that values your craft.


What You’ll Bring

🎛 Technical Expertise

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in audio, lighting, or vision roles within live events

  • Strong working knowledge of:

    • Lighting: GrandMA, DMX systems, modern LED technologies

    • Audio: A&H digital consoles, Dante networks, wireless RF mics

    • Vision: Presentation switching, show graphics, videoconferencing

  • Experience operating audio and vision for a range of events — from boardroom briefings to gala dinners

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and quick thinking on the job

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments

  • Flexibility with working hours — we work when events happen
