About the role

You’ll be involved in the whole production process — preparing equipment, building systems, working onsite, operating technology and making sure everything comes together when the lights go on. This role involves taking events from the warehouse to the stage, working across Melbourne and beyond.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, configure and test professional AV equipment in the warehouse

  • Load, transport and set up equipment for events across Melbourne and beyond

  • Install and operate audio, lighting, video and presentation systems

  • Work alongside producers, technicians, clients and event crews to deliver outstanding events

  • Take ownership of your role onsite and help lead smaller crews when required

  • Troubleshoot problems quickly and confidently when things don’t go according to plan

  • Pack down equipment and ensure everything is returned, checked and ready for the next event

  • Help maintain and improve our equipment, systems and technical processes

About you

  • Experience working in live events, AV production, corporate events or similar

  • Strong knowledge of professional audio, video and lighting equipment

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • The confidence to work independently and take responsibility onsite

  • The ability to communicate well with clients and work as part of a team

  • A professional attitude and pride in delivering a great result

  • A current Australian driver’s licence

  • Experience with lighting control, corporate AV systems or event production is a bonus
