About this opportunity:
As the Audio Visual Technical Manager – Theatre, you will lead the delivery of worldclass technical production across ICC Sydney’s theatres including TikTok Entertainment Centre & Darling Harbour Theatre, supporting a diverse program of live entertainment, performances and major events.
This role is responsible for overseeing the planning and operation of audio visual, lighting and sound systems, as well as preparing and providing accurate quotations to ensure production requirements and specifications are met.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, visiting productions and clients, you will ensure all technical requirements are delivered safely, seamlessly and to the highest professional standard, contributing to exceptional audience and client experiences.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading audio visual technical delivery in theatre or live entertainment environments, including lighting, sound and stage systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of complex AV systems, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret production specifications and develop detailed AV quotations that accurately reflect technical requirements and system configurations.
- Experience working with touring productions, promoters and visiting technicians, delivering technical specifications accurately and safely.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a live performance environment.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- You must be 18 years or over.
