What we are looking for:

Situated on the banks of the Mary River in Maryborough, the Brolga is a first-class theatre and conference venue, which attracts the finest international and national performers.

We are seeking a mature and professional skilled Casual Technician to support live theatre productions at Brolga Theatre. Must have experience in lighting, sound, AV, staging, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

What your day will look like:

  • Ensure the effective presentation of performances, functions and events from a technical perspective.
  • To ensure the highest possible production standards are maintained and adhered to.
  • Ensure all Workplace Health and Safety issues within the Technical area are identified, documented and referred to management for assessment and evaluation.

What you’ll need for success:

 Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain one)

  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Can do attitude
  • High level of maturity
  • Team player

What’s nice to have:

  • Previous experience in the Technical Department of a professional Theatre Company, Performing Arts Centre or Entertainment Centre.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded.
