Are you a capable Audio-Visual Technician looking for variety, autonomy, and long-term career development? Do you enjoy working on high-impact AV systems in commercial, educational, and government spaces?
As part of our installation and service delivery team, you will be responsible for deploying AV technologies across corporate, educational, and government environments—including meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, digital signage, PA systems, and control platforms.
This position offers a clear pathway to more senior roles in project management, technical design, or sales, depending on your career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and commissioning of AV systems including:
-
Large format displays, interactive touchscreens, projectors
-
Video conferencing systems (Logitech, Crestron, Q-SYS)
-
Digital signage platforms and paging/bell systems
-
Commercial audio systems (speakers, amplifiers, DSPs)
-

Termination and testing of Cat6, HDMI, audio, and control cabling
-
Rack building, equipment mounting, patching, and on-site testing
-
Reading and interpreting technical documentation and AV schematics
-
Fault-finding and troubleshooting of AV system issues in live environments
-
Working independently and collaboratively across job sites
-
Updating work progress and reporting through digital job management tools
-
Travelling to client sites across Sydney and some in regional NSW as required
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Proven experience in AV installation and integration across commercial or educational environments
-
Strong technical skills in system commissioning, fault finding, and equipment setup
-
Ability to deliver neat and professional cabling and hardware installations
-
High standards of presentation, communication, and client engagement
-
White Card (Construction Induction)
-
Valid Driver’s Licence
-
Advantageous: Experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, AMX or similar platforms
