Looking for a long-term leadership role in the events industry?
Matrix Productions Australia is a well-established and respected event production company providing lighting, staging, sound systems, drapes and AV equipment for festivals, conferences, corporate events, council functions and private events across Perth and WA.
This is a full-time, long-term position with a company that has been successfully operating for many years in the events and production industry.
You’ll join a professional, friendly team, leading our hire department and helping deliver outstanding events for a wide range of clients.

The Role
As Hire & Operations Manager, you will:
• Lead and manage the hire department team
• Prepare quotes for clients and manage hire orders
• Coordinate equipment preparation, delivery, and logistics for events
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Assist with sales and develop new business opportunities
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard
• Maintain organised workflows and efficient hire processes
About You
You are a motivated, organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will ideally have:
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• High computer literacy
• A flexible, proactive attitude
• Sales or customer service experience
Experience in the event production or equipment hire industry is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook and RentalPoint. Applicants with backgrounds in events, production, logistics, or hire operations are encouraged to apply.
