Sales & Business Development Manager – Creative Technology
Base Salary + Super + Commission
NEP Live Events/Creative Technology & Big Picture operates as part of a global company with over 4700 employees worldwide in both broadcasting and live events. In Australia & New Zealand we specialise is ensuring technology helps support a range of live events. Due to success and planned expansion, we are looking to hire a Sales & Business Development Manager with the role capable of being located anywhere. This is a special opportunity for a seasoned sales person with strong industry contacts to join, develop and take full ownership of the sales process and help take the business to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Full sales cycle, prospecting to close
- Prospecting; researching and leveraging contacts in the market that may involve some cold calling
- Run effective discovery sessions and present value proposition
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Respond to incoming leads and interest from industry stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven commercial business development experience
- Technology sales experience
- Experience selling into the live events industry (highly desirable)
- Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Experience with business development tools (e.g. Salesforce)
Non-technical requirements:
- Proactive sales mentality, you aren’t afraid of BD/outbound sales
- Methodical & strategic BD/sales approach
- Strong understanding of how to run an efficient sales process
- Focused on long term relationships
- Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
- Customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
- High commitment to quality (no shortcuts)
- Team player, support and guide peers as well as working with Project Managers and others in the team.
