Help us bring events to life.

We’re expanding our casual crew pool and looking for beginner to intermediate AV/lighting/staging operators (and fast learners with great attitudes). If you’re the person who can make a follow-spot feel like theatre magic, wrangle cables without a knot, or keep your cool during a 10-minute reset — we want you.

Why you’ll love it

  • A mix of venue-based and touring-style gigs

  • Real training for people with the right behaviours and work ethic

  • Ongoing casual shifts across weekdays and weekends

  • A team that works hard and laughs harder (mostly at ourselves)

  •
    $40 – $50 per hour

What you’ll do

  • Support AV, lighting, staging and general tech ops

  • Bump in/out: loading, unloading, setup, pack-down

  • Operate or assist with basic lighting, audio, vision and staging tasks

  • Follow run sheets, take direction, and keep safety front of mind

  • Be the reliable, professional crew clients request back

What you’ll bring

  • Some events experience or a genuine passion to learn

  • Great attitude, punctuality, and willingness to pitch in anywhere

  • Availability across weekdays and/or weekends (early starts/late finishes can happen)

  • Physical capacity to lift, carry and be on your feet for long periods

  • Black workwear and PPE basics; steel-cap boots are a plus

  • Bonus points if you’ve ever named a road case

Nice to have (not must-haves):
Driver’s licence, White Card, EWP ticket, basic audio/lighting console familiarity, WWCC.

The essentials

  • Sydney & surrounds

  • Casual employment under the relevant Award

  • We’re an equal-opportunity crew: all backgrounds and identities welcome.

  • You must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
