About the Role
Are you an experienced event professional who thrives in the thick of the action? We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Event Crew Supervisor to lead and supervise our event crew through the end-to-end delivery of premium events.
In this role, you will be on-site and leading from the front to coordinate the delivery, installation, operation, and pack-down of audio-visual equipment, staging, structures, and event infrastructure. If you know how to motivate a crew, maintain tight schedules, and ensure everything is built safely and to a high standard, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

On-Site Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and manage event crew productivity during high-pressure bump-in and bump-out phases.
-
Operations & Setup: Coordinate the physical setup and teardown of AV, staging, lighting, power, and temporary event infrastructure.
-
Safety First: Conduct pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, ensuring strict compliance with WHS regulations and site safety requirements.
-
Task Allocation: Efficiently allocate tasks to crew members based on their strengths and the day’s priorities.
-
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main onsite point of contact, smoothly liaising with project managers, technicians, clients, and contractors.
-
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot onsite logistics or technical issues rapidly to maintain strict event delivery schedules.
-
Logistics & Asset Care: Oversee safe equipment handling, inventory tracking, and secure vehicle loading and unloading.
What We Are Looking For:
-
Proven experience supervising or leading crews in event production, staging, or AV.
-
A strong, hands-on work ethic. You love being on-site and working alongside your team.
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse crews and high-end clients.
-
A sharp eye for safety (WHS compliance) and quality presentation.
-
Flexibility to work event hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required.
-
A valid driver’s licence. An MR or HR licence or forklift ticket is a major plus.
What’s in It for You:
-
Competitive Pay
- $74,000 – $80,000 per year
-
Dynamic, fast-paced work environment where no two days are the same.
-
Opportunity to work on high-profile, exciting events and activations.
-
A supportive management team that values career progression and internal promotion.
